Rediscovered - Bringing Back Minecraft's Forgotten Features
Rediscovered mod reintroduces concepts and features that were once discarded by developers, mainly from early game versions before release 1.0.0. All elements have been reimagined and adapted for modern gameplay, so they fit organically into the current version of the game.

☁️ Skylands Dimension
High above the clouds lies a forgotten world where life evolved completely differently than in the ordinary world. Giant zombies roam freely here, pigs have evolved and created their own society, and flowers thought to be extinct continue to bloom.

The landscape has preserved its original appearance from the beta versions of the game. Huge cherry trees are frequently found here, having grown to impressive sizes over time. The Skylands include various biomes - from snowy forests to humid tropical jungles. The most persistent explorers may even discover the Far Lands, a place once considered a myth.
🔎 How to Reach the Skylands
There was once a way to enter this dimension, and its traces can be found in trail ruins. To find the entrance, craft a Ruby Eye.

The eye will lead you to a building on the outskirts of the trail, where there is a ruined brick portal. After restoration, it can be activated using the same Ruby Eye.

💎 Rubies
These red gemstones are mined in the Skylands, as well as in jungles and savannas. They serve as the primary currency among Pigmen. In the ordinary world, rubies are found in small clusters at high altitudes, while in the Skylands they can be found in large quantities. Some once confused them with emeralds.

🐷 Meet the Pigmen
Pigmen are usually found in villages of the Skylands. Most of them are willing to trade, similar to villagers of the ordinary world. They are very intelligent and passionate about science and technology. Due to their location, they particularly value materials like quartz or flint, and offer more goods for them. There are 5 different Pigmen professions, each offering unique items or easier ways to obtain them, including armor, special wool colors, and even potions discovered through their research.

🛡️ Guard Pigmen
Some Pigmen are not interested in trade but specialize in melee or ranged combat. If rescued from zombification, they will offer their services and guard you in exchange for rubies. In this case, you can equip them with weapons and armor.

🧟 Zombie Pigmen
The most interesting representatives of their species are Zombie Pigmen. They can occasionally be found in the Nether alongside zombified piglins. They can be cured similarly to zombie villagers, but using golden carrots instead of apples. If given melee or ranged weapons before curing, they will become guards of the corresponding type, otherwise they will be regular traders. How Pigmen ended up in the Nether remains a mystery.

🧱 Brick Pyramid and Red Dragon
A giant mysterious brick structure, usually located on a separate floating island. At the top of the pyramid is a pylon protected by the energy inside the structure. This energy calms and protects the Red Dragon flying around. Your task is to find and disable the energy source inside. After this, the pylon becomes vulnerable to destruction, which will anger the dragon.

Hatching the Red Dragon Egg
If you manage to defeat the Red Dragon, it will leave behind an egg. This egg can be fertilized using dragon's breath, which starts the hatching process lasting several days. During this time, the egg can be moved. After hatching and full maturation, a saddle can be placed on the dragon and two players can ride it. If you can obtain some, you can equip it with customizable dragon armor. The dragon can even be used for travel between the ordinary world and the Skylands! Be careful - prolonged flight can exhaust the dragon, which is dangerous in an unsuitable location.

Ruby Flute
If your dragon gets lost, craft a Ruby Flute to call it if it's close enough to hear the melody.

Respawning the Red Dragon
The Red Dragon can be respawned by placing 4 dragon pylons on the altar at the top of the brick pyramid in any orientation. After defeating it again, a new egg will appear.

Nether Reactor
If you're lucky enough to obtain a Nether Star, you can create a Nether Reactor Core and build the reactor itself. With it, you can create an effect in a large radius that makes some mobs behave as if they were in the Nether. This means piglins and hoglins can move safely, and Pigmen will turn into zombies if not sprayed with a golden aura potion. This aura also increases the damage of all creatures within its radius. If the reactor is built from netherite blocks instead of gold, its effects will be enhanced. Discover what can be done with this ancient technology!
