Rebirth of the Mobs: Complete Control Over Game Entities

Rebirth of the Mobs is a powerful tool for deep customization of all creature behaviors in Minecraft. This framework opens endless possibilities for modpack and adventure map creators, allowing complete overhaul of the game's combat system.

Boundless Compatibility

The mod works with absolutely all entities from other modifications and supports all potion effects. If you don't configure anything, the game remains almost unchanged - the tool's full power only reveals itself with manual customization to your needs.

Main Configuration Features

Damage Immunity

Configure entity immunity to specific damage types. The standard game includes damage sources like "cactus", "mob", "player", "arrow", "suffocation", and "fall". You can make immunity specific - for example, zombies become immune to skeleton arrows but still take damage from player arrows.

Potion Effect Cancellation

Tired of the nausea effect? Want to make monsters immune to wither? In this section, you can configure entity immunity to any potion effects.

Death Spawns

Recreate the classic video game trope where monsters spawn other creatures upon death. Want the Wither to transform into a rabbit after dying? Or the Gaia Guardian from Botania to erupt into a swarm of Erebus insects? All this is possible with NBT tag support for spawned entities.

Instant Health Regain

Put an end to cheap "grave rush" strategies against bosses! Configure health regeneration for entities when others die nearby. The "Last Man Standing" feature enables scenarios like in Terraria where one player can hold off the boss while others respawn.

Mob Defense

Create creatures with retribution auras, acidic blood, or curses for attackers. Configure potion effect application to those who attack your entities, with the option to specify particular damage sources.

Mob Offense

Expand the arsenal of status effects for all creatures. Inspired by mods like Rough Mobs, this section provides complete control over which effects monsters inflict - from spider slowness to enderman blindness.

Summon Spawn

Allow any entity to summon helpers - perfect for creating unique boss battles. Settings let you disable experience and drops from summoned creatures to prevent exploitation.

Vehicle Configuration

Completely control which entities can use vehicles. Prevent boats from being used as death traps for monsters or disable riding specific animals.

Miscellaneous Settings

Global swim speed multiplier lets you make all entities either sinking weights or Olympic swimmers. Natural spawn improvement removes restrictions on transparent and half-blocks, allowing monsters to spawn on leaves, slabs, and glass.

Debug Mode

Tools for identifying internal names of entities, effects, and damage sources. Particularly useful is the damage source debug mode, allowing you to determine the type of last received damage by clicking on an entity.
