Rebalanced Loot

Rebalanced Loot is a datapack and mod that completely transforms the contents of chests in Minecraft!

What Changes

This project fundamentally alters the loot system from chests, pursuing two main objectives:

Enhanced Realism and World Immersion Now in abandoned mineshafts you'll find raw ores and worn pickaxes instead of melon seeds - such logical changes are applied to most chest loot tables.

Incentive to Explore Rare Locations Particularly valuable structures like Woodland Mansions have received significantly improved loot to justify the time and effort spent searching for them.

Additional Features

• Every chest has a 20% chance to contain a music disc. All discs (except 5) can now be found in chests. Each structure generates only two types of discs, so for a complete collection you'll need to explore various corners of the world.

• Some locations have biome-dependent loot. For example, mineshafts in dripstone caves will have more raw copper, while in lush caves - more glow berries.

The project doesn't add new blocks or items, making it fully compatible with the server side of the game.
