RealPlayer
Some Minecraft modifications use special mechanisms to detect "fake players" - these are virtual entities that emulate the actions of a real user. For example, automated mob killing devices create such fake players to ensure obtaining loot that normally only drops when killed by an actual player.
The problem arises when developers of certain modpacks intentionally block the ability for such automated systems to obtain special loot meant only for real players. A classic example is the gems from the Apotheosis mod, which should drop exclusively when killed by actual users.
RealPlayer solves this problem in a radical way - it completely disables all fake player checks across all server modifications. After installing this mod, automated mob killing systems will be able to obtain any loot, including special items that are normally available only to real players.
