Randomized Armor Loot - Variety in Chests
Tired of finding the same standard armor sets in chests? Have too many armor mods installed? Don't want to spend time crafting complex equipment sets?
Then this mod is made specifically for you! Randomized Armor Loot fundamentally changes the armor generation system in chests, making it completely random but still balanced.
When the game tries to place a regular armor item in a chest, the mod replaces it with a random equivalent of the same type with equal or lesser protection. For example, if a regular helmet was supposed to appear, you'll instead find a random helmet with similar or weaker characteristics.
Important feature: the system ignores items of lower class than the original. This means that if iron armor is being replaced, leather or gold options won't be considered.
The mod only replaces standard armor types from vanilla game, except for chainmail armor. Future versions plan to add white and black list systems for more fine-tuned control over the replacement process.
