Quill of Origin

A small yet functional Minecraft modification that expands the capabilities of the Origins system. The main innovation is a special ability type quilloforigin:scribe that gives players the unique ability to automatically maintain a chat diary.

When a character possesses this ability and has quilloforigin:chat_book items in their inventory, all chat messages begin to be automatically recorded in the book. By default, the system checks only one of the character's hands for such books, but this behavior can be easily modified.

Functionality Features

• Flexible Recording Settings: Administrators can configure which specific chat messages should be recorded in the book
• Expandable Content: The book has no standard crafting recipe, allowing datapack creators to independently determine how it can be obtained in the game
• Configurable Inventory: It's possible to specify in which inventory slots the system will search for books for recording

The simple and elegant implementation makes this mod an ideal addition for roleplaying servers and collective adventures where preserving the history of discussions and decisions made is important.
