Information
ProtoManly's Weather mod completely transforms the weather system in Minecraft using advanced ray tracing technology to create realistic atmospheric phenomena. The mod's arsenal includes various clouds, heavy rains, thunderstorms with lightning, cyclones, squalls, supercells, and destructive tornadoes.
IMPORTANT: Tornadoes possess destructive power and can dramatically change your world's landscape, destroying buildings and structures.
The mod offers extensive settings, allowing fine-tuning of all aspects of weather phenomena: spawn probability, intensity, sizes, strengthening chances, and much more.
Performance
Modern hardware is required for comfortable gameplay with this modification. The developer has included optimization settings for weaker PCs, though at the cost of visual quality.
Minimum GPU requirements:
- GTX 1660 SUPER
- RX 590 (not tested, but should work)
Recommended GPUs:
- RTX 3060
- RX 6600XT
Intel integrated graphics solutions are not officially supported at the moment. They may work with limitations - for example, causing permanent cloud cover across the entire world. In version 0.13.7+, this issue can be resolved by setting the overcast percentage in server configuration to 0.
Compatibility
IMPORTANT: The mod is incompatible with shaders!
