Expanded Storage

This mod introduces various storage containers to the game, including chests, traditional chests, barrels, and compact containers.

All container types, except for miniature versions, function similarly to standard Minecraft storage but feature significantly increased capacity.

Container Tiers

Each tier of containers possesses unique characteristics:

• Wooden chests - basic tier with 27-item capacity. Include various design variants:

  • Standard wooden versions
  • Pumpkin designs
  • Gift wraps with different decorative patterns
  • Bamboo models
  • Moss versions that can spread when using bone meal

• Copper containers - 45-item capacity

• Iron models - hold up to 54 items

• Golden chests - particularly valued by piglins, capacity up to 81 items

• Diamond storage - up to 108 items

• Obsidian containers - completely explosion-proof, 108-item capacity

• Netherite chests - fire and explosion resistant, maximum capacity of 135 items

Visual Features

Modeled chests operate similarly to standard chests but with increased capacity. Feature the ability to merge vertically and horizontally, forming tall and long configurations in addition to standard double chests.

Traditional chests maintain the aesthetics of modeled ones but fully occupy a block without opening animation. Due to the absence of complex visualization, they have less impact on performance.

Barrels also lack complex graphic processing, which positively affects FPS when multiple containers are concentrated in one area. Functionally similar to standard barrels with expanded storage space.

Miniature containers designed for single-item storage, perfect for creating gifts for other players. Some models require using a Storage Mutator tool named "Sparrow".

Modification Tools

Storage Mutator allows container customization directly in the game:

• Merging - forming double chests from adjacent containers
• Splitting - separating double chests into single ones
• Rotation - changing container orientation (with limitations for chests)
• Theme swapping - changing appearance within the current tier

Conversion kits enable altering the tier of existing containers in the world. Various upgrade options available, including progression from wooden to netherite tier.
