PMTemperature

This mod provides compatibility between various temperature modifications in Minecraft, combining systems from popular addons to create a unified realistic weather environment.

Main Features

The mod synchronizes temperature readings between Cold Sweat, Tough as Nails and ProtoManly's Weather Mod. Now the ambient world temperature in these modifications will correspond to calculations made by PMWeather, creating a consistent climate system.

The cooling effect of rain now takes into account the precipitation system features from ProtoManly's Weather, making weather conditions more realistic and predictable.

Apparent Temperature

An additional feature simulates how the human body perceives temperature in real life. When this option is active, Cold Sweat receives modified temperature values that account for additional factors.

At temperatures below zero, the wind chill effect begins to operate. Its intensity depends on local wind speed - for example, a sudden squall in a snowy biome can lower the apparent temperature by up to 10 degrees compared to the actual ambient temperature.

For temperatures above 19°C, air humidity increases the apparent temperature. This is most noticeable in jungles and other hot humid biomes, where the combination of high temperature and humidity creates particularly challenging conditions.

Compatibility

In dimensions where PMWeather is not active, Cold Sweat and Tough as Nails continue to use their standard climate systems, ensuring uninterrupted operation under all conditions.

Support for Serene Seasons is maintained through PMWeather's own temperature system, allowing seasonal changes to be used alongside other temperature modifications.
