Player Totems
Return to Life Through Totems
When a player dies, a special totem appears at their death point. The appearance of this totem is influenced by the block beneath it. This feature makes each totem unique and suited to its location.
The resurrection mechanic works as follows: if another player breaks the totem in time, the fallen comrade gets a second chance and returns to life. However, there's an important time limitation - the totem only exists for a set period (default 5 minutes). This interval can be adjusted through the game rule "Totem Decay Time", where time is specified in minutes.

When the allotted time expires, the regular totem transforms into a decayed version, which can no longer revive a player. Both events - the totem's appearance and its decay - are automatically announced in chat so all participants are aware. Each created totem is tied to a specific player and can only revive the one who died at that location.
Golden totems differ from regular ones - they can be crafted and manually placed. When a player breaks a golden totem, they are instantly teleported to its location. If a player dies near a placed golden totem, it can be activated for resurrection, just like the regular version.

Settings and Features
The totem system is fully customizable. The game rule "Totems Decay" (enabled by default) allows disabling the time-based decay mechanic if you prefer more permanent resurrection markers.
