Peeping Tom
A Terrifying New Enemy for Minecraft
The Peeping Tom modification adds a horrifying humanoid with a distorted face and unnaturally long neck that it uses to stalk its prey. When night falls, this monster begins watching the player from a safe distance, gradually closing in and becoming more aggressive.
Stalking Mechanics
The system is divided into six phases that sequentially activate throughout the night:
- Phase 1: Eerie sounds in the darkness warn of approaching danger
- Phase 2: Peeping Tom appears in forests, extending its neck up to 21 blocks to observe the player from a safe distance
- Phase 3: A compact version with a 7.5-block neck begins following you while maintaining a 40-block distance
- Phase 4: Distance reduces to 25 blocks, the ghost version of the monster appears
- Phase 5: The creature approaches dangerously close - only 10 blocks away
- Phase 6: Peeping Tom becomes aggressive - attacks, breaks foliage, and can destroy shields
Ghost Form

Starting from phase 4, a ghost version of the monster appears without the long neck. It remains passive and disappears when approached. From phase 3, when creepy sounds play, there's a 20% chance this form will spawn right in front of you, attempting to startle you before instantly vanishing.
Technical Features
The monster's aggression resets if it kills a player in phase 6 - all indicators return to zero. The following control commands are also available:
peepingtom_phases- progress to next phasepeepingtom_phases_reset- reset to initial state
Mobs spawn only under specific conditions, which may generate console messages. It's recommended to use the latest Minecraft versions to access the full functionality.
