Peeping Creepers - The Main Threat in Minecraft
These green monsters know their job—they stalk, spy, and wait. The same "creepers," but now completely different. The changes affect only the Fabric version—support for Forge has been discontinued.
What does this mean in the game?
If previously creepers would simply approach and explode, they have now developed a real hunting strategy. They patiently wait until the player turns their back on them, and only then execute their destructive plan. Even a strong wall or a reliable door won't provide protection—the creeper is ready to blast its way through by any means.
Key Features:
- The creeper waits for the attack moment until the player looks directly at it.
- When unable to reach the player due to obstacles, the explosion clears the way for other monsters.
- A special ability to see through walls allows creepers to find the player anywhere.
- The detection range is increased from the standard 16 to 32 blocks.
- All settings can be customized to your liking—from spawn protection on servers to requiring direct line of sight before pursuit.
Future Plans:
All planned features have already been implemented. Only tasks that are still under discussion remain:
- Expanding AI for other mobs. For example, skeletons will learn to shoot from cover, and zombies will alert their kin about nearby targets.
