PeacefulSurface (Fabric)
Make dungeons and nights truly dangerous! The PeacefulSurface (Fabric) mod fundamentally changes the hostile mob spawning system, making the surface world much safer for players.
Core Mechanics
Now hostile creatures can only spawn in complete darkness where the light level does not exceed zero. This means that at night on the surface, mobs won't spawn in open areas - only in deep caves, dungeons, and other completely dark locations.
Flexible Configuration
The mod supports an extended rule system allowing detailed customization of mob spawning conditions. You can create multiple rules simultaneously, fully customizing gameplay to your preferences.
Project source code is available in the GitHub repository. Advanced users can perform fine-tuning through configuration files, where any creature spawning parameters can be adjusted.
Technical Requirements
This is the Fabric version of the PeacefulSurface mod, which requires Fabric API to be installed. The mod is compatible with most popular modifications and doesn't conflict with other gameplay mechanic changes.
