Parrot's Cage

Give your Minecraft parrots completely new interaction possibilities! This mod transforms ordinary feathered pets into true companions with a unique relationship system.

Unique Friendship System

Each parrot has individual preferences - favorite music, specific seed types, even sympathies towards particular players. The friendship level gradually decreases over time, and if it reaches zero, the pet will permanently lose trust in you.

To check a parrot's statistics, use Shift + Right Click. You'll see their favorite records, preferred food, player sympathies, and explored biomes. If you maintain a high friendship level for several days, the parrot will become a loyal friend who no longer loses attachment.

Ways to Strengthen Friendship

Listening to music - place a jukebox near the cage and play the parrot's favorite record

Feeding seeds - different seed types provide different amounts of friendship points, with favorite varieties being particularly effective

Exploring biomes - take the parrot with you on journeys through different locations

Sitting on shoulder - while the parrot is on your shoulder, the friendship level doesn't decrease

Variety of Cages

The mod offers five cage types with unique characteristics:

Basic Cage - simple construction that can be placed on the ground or hung under a block. Broken with a pickaxe.

Gold Cage - elegant design to showcase your wealth. Broken with a pickaxe.

Fancy Cage - sophisticated design with nine-slot storage in the bottom part. Broken with an axe.

Modern Cage - available in various colors, has large storage on top of the block. Broken with an axe.

Christmas Cage - festive option for special occasions with small storage on top. Broken with a pickaxe.

How to Use Cages

You can place a parrot in a cage in two ways: when it's sitting on your shoulder (Right Click on the cage) or using a leash (Right Click on the cage with a leashed parrot). Tamed parrots are released when the cage is broken to maintain friendship balance, while untamed parrots remain inside and can be stored in inventory.

The mod also limits the number of parrots each player can tame and adds new sounds, making interaction with feathered friends even more realistic.
