Panoramic Mod

This mod enriches Minecraft's loading screen with various new panoramic views, including previously existing variants. I felt that Mojang's theme-specific panoramas disrupted the game's cohesive feel, so I decided to make my own adjustments.

Currently, there are 16 different panoramas available with an additional 10 variants for mod compatibility. The system uses weighted distribution—some panoramas appear more frequently than others, so rare locations will be displayed much less often.

Frequently Asked Questions

"What about Fabric version? For older game versions?"
You can port the mod yourself, but I won't be doing it.

"Why is the file size so large?"
Panoramic screenshots are significantly larger than regular textures (one panoramic shot is 3906 times larger than a block texture), plus there are many of them. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about this.

"When will there be a port to the new version?"
I will update the mod after the stable version is released. If I disappear from view—you can make the port yourself.

"Compatibility with other mods?"
You can add compatibility via pull request on GitHub. I recommend using the "Panorama" mod by SWDTeam to create panoramic screenshots—that's what I used.
