[Discontinued][Forge] Ore Spiders Mod

NOTICE: Development of this mod has been suspended indefinitely. Anyone is free to use the resources and ideas from this project for their own purposes (compilations, maps, mods, resource packs, videos, etc.).

The Ore Spiders modification was created by developer Bendonnelly1 with the participation of artist Vaderman24. The original concept belongs to user ThatEnderBlender. The game adds 11 new types of spiders, most of which correspond to various Minecraft ores and drop when killed.

Installation

1. Make sure you have a clean version of Minecraft 1.7.10
2. Download and install Minecraft Forge for version 1.7.10
3. Download the Ore Spiders file in JAR format
4. Place the downloaded file in the mods folder in the .minecraft directory (if the folder doesn't exist - create it)
5. Launch Minecraft and select the profile with Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 version

Queen Spider Eye

Used to create a Mysterious Potion.

Mysterious Potion

Used to summon the spider queen!

Orb Weaver

This item can only be obtained by killing the spider queen. When used, the orb weaver throws out an orb that creates a cobweb upon contact with a block.

Bosses

Additional Information

• Coal Spider spawns almost everywhere, just like coal ore
• Ender Spider appears only in the End, as it would be too difficult to fight in the overworld (changes possible based on player requests)
• Nether-Quartz Spider inhabits exclusively in the Nether
• Obsidian Spider spawns near obsidian, usually within an 8×8×8 block cube of an obsidian block. Because of this spawning condition, they are quite rare
• Each spider has a 50% chance of dropping the corresponding item provided it was killed by the player with a sword
• If a spider dies from fire or lava, it drops nothing
• When killing a spider with a sword enchanted with looting, the drop chance remains 50%, but the number of dropped items increases significantly
