M'Ore Seeds

Mod Overview

This mod expands Minecraft's agricultural capabilities by adding five unique types of seeds to the game. With these, players can grow diamonds, emeralds, gold, iron, and strawberries, opening up new ways to obtain valuable resources.

Key Features

Ore-Producing Plants

The mod includes four types of plants that produce valuable minerals:

• Diamond Plant - grows on coal blocks
• Emerald Plant - grows on netherrack in the Nether
• Gold Plant - also requires netherrack in the Nether
• Iron Plant - similar growing conditions

Special Growing Conditions

All ore-producing plants have specific environmental requirements:

• Requires an open lava source in adjacent blocks
• Lava must be open to air (block above must be empty)
• By default, doesn't grow in peaceful mode (configurable)
• Growth rate comparable to wheat

Important Warning: Working with lava requires caution. Ensure all flammable materials are stored safely. Coal blocks are flammable.

Strawberry Crop

For players who prefer traditional farming, the mod adds strawberries:

• Strawberry seeds can be found by breaking grass
• Each plant produces 4 berries
• Food value comparable to apples and watermelons
• Restores 1 health point and 0.3 saturation
• ~25% chance to provide speed boost for 5 seconds

Seed Crafting Recipes

Ore Plant Seeds

All seeds for growing minerals follow the same crafting pattern:

• Diamond Seeds - Nether Star in center, surrounded by 8 diamond blocks
• Emerald Seeds - Nether Star with 8 emerald blocks
• Iron Seeds - Nether Star with 8 iron blocks
• Gold Seeds - Nether Star with 8 gold blocks

Strawberry Seeds

Strawberry seeds are crafted shapelessly from strawberries themselves, which can be found in grass.

Configuration and Compatibility

The mod offers flexible configuration options:

• Ability to change chances for additional seed drops
• Customization of growing conditions for different biomes
• Option to enable/disable seed drops from mobs
• Peaceful mode settings

Technical Details

The mod is fully tested and stable. Each plant has balanced drop characteristics and growth conditions, ensuring fair gameplay.
