OnlyKeys

OnlyKeys is a Minecraft Fabric mod that enables playing the game using only the keyboard. The project is in early development stages, so bugs may occur. Fabric API is required for the mod to function properly.

Camera control is handled through the u, h, j, and k keys. Left-click is performed with z, and right-click with i. In the inventory, an active slot is highlighted and can be moved using the same keys as camera control. For quick slot switching, a special panel is available by pressing l, where you can enter the slot number for instant selection.

The demonstration video below shows how OnlyKeys is used to successfully craft a wooden hoe using only the keyboard. The keypress visualizer used in the video is open source.

Default Control Settings

By default, the following key bindings are used, which can be customized as desired. The option for separate camera and slot movement controls is also available. Sensitivity is adjusted through Minecraft's standard mouse settings.

• F4 — Enable/disable OnlyKeys
• u — Camera up and slot up
• j — Camera down and slot down
• h — Camera left and slot left
• k — Camera right and slot right
• z — Left click
• i — Right click
• l — Open quick slot selection
• TAB — Change creative inventory tab
• Page Up — Scroll up in creative inventory
• Page Down — Scroll down in creative inventory
