OldFashionedLimits
Embark on a nostalgic journey back to the memorable Minecraft days! OldFashionedLimits is a specialized datapack/mod that restores the classic height limits that were in effect in versions before 1.17.
Mod Features
With this modification, you can:
- Build at the familiar maximum height of 256 blocks, just like in the good old days
- Eliminate gameplay at negative height, which is unfamiliar to players of older versions
🎯 Important Warning! This content CANNOT be installed in existing worlds! For it to work, you must:
- Delete your current world (if it exists)
- Create a completely new play space from scratch

Minimum Requirements: Minecraft version 1.19.4 or newer
🎮 Getting Started
📥 Install as Datapack
- Go to the world creation menu
- Open the "Datapacks" section
- Simply drag and drop the datapack file into the game window
- Confirm the use of experimental content if necessary
- Create a new world
⚙️ Install as Mod
- Download the latest version of the mod
- Place the file in the
modsfolder in the Minecraft/server root directory - Agree to the experimental feature notification
