Old and New

This mod will be updated for new Minecraft versions but won't receive additional content

The Old and New modification brings back into the game various elements that were presented in different sources:

• Content from Minecraft Earth
• Features from April Fools updates
• Removed capabilities
• Previously unimplemented mechanics
• Completely new additions

Blocks

This expansion includes many interesting blocks:

• The most stylish stairs (from April Fools update)
• The most stylish slabs (new)
• Carved watermelons (from Minecraft Earth)
• Barrel of fish (previously unimplemented)
• Feather block and decorative feather block (new)
• Ruby block and ruby ore (removed/new)
• Cheese (from April Fools update)
• Pink daisy and buttercup (from Minecraft Earth)
• Glowing obsidian (removed)
• USB charger block (from April Fools update)

Items

The modification contains various useful items:

• Longer string (from April Fools update) - compact way to store threads
• Footprints (from April Fools update)
• Decorative feathers (from Minecraft Earth)
• Rubies (removed/Minecraft Earth) - can be used for trading with wandering traders
• Reality vision (from April Fools update) - grants night vision for 2 seconds
• Ankle monitor (from April Fools update) - applies slowness effect
• Crystallized honey (previously unimplemented)

Crafting

New crafting recipes have been added:

• Carved pumpkins can now be created on a crafting table
• Items requiring 2 or more strings in their recipe can be crafted using longer string
