OfflineSkins - Display Skins in Offline Mode

This mod solves a common issue where characters in Minecraft appear without skins when playing on servers in offline mode. Now you can see your own and others' skins even without an internet connection.

The mod offers several ways to load skins. If the standard skin doesn't load, you can place a skin file in a special folder (.minecraft/cachedImages/skins), naming it after the username with the .png extension. In this case, the mod will use the local file to display the skin.

Optional integration with the Crafatar service is also available for automatic skin loading when needed. Starting from version 1.12.2-v2, you can configure the use of your own skin server through the configuration file. From version 1.12.2-v3, support for high-resolution skins has been added.

It's important to note that this is a client-only mod - it doesn't need to be installed on the server. Development began before the appearance of similar mods and has gone through several redesign stages. If you find any bugs, the developer would appreciate reporting them.

For Fabric versions, updates are published in a separate project.
