Nutritional Balance Mod
Enjoy Minecraft's fascinating culinary system with Nutritional Balance, which turns ordinary meals into a strategic game. Now you can monitor your character's rational nutrition and receive real benefits in gameplay for this.
How the New Nutrition System Works
Each food item contains information about the nutritional elements it contains. Simply hover over food in your inventory to see the list of nutrients and the total number of nutrition units (NUs).

When you consume food, the nutrition units received are distributed among the corresponding nutrients. To maintain your character's optimal physical condition, it's important to eat a variety of foods and avoid overeating any one nutrient.
Monitoring Nutritional Status
To track your nutrition balance, press the 'N' key (which can be customized) or click the special nutrition button in your inventory interface.

This action opens the special nutrition control interface.

- Blue filled areas reflect the current level of each nutrient
- Green vertical lines indicate the boundaries of the target range
- Red lines on the left show the malnutrition threshold
- Right red lines mark overeating boundaries
Positive Effects and Negative Consequences
Achieve maximum character performance by keeping all nutrient indicators within the green range. A balanced diet will bring tangible advantages.

Pay attention to red boundary lines. If any nutrients cross dangerous limits, your character will face negative consequences.

Features of Different Nutrients
Some substances have unique characteristics. For example, sugar is considered an "optional" nutrient - it doesn't hinder balance achievement if its indicator stays below the upper green boundary, and never causes malnutrition. Vegetables always have a positive effect. If vegetable levels exceed the lower green line, it's already counted in the overall balance. Characters can consume any amount of vegetables without restrictions and won't suffer from overeating.
The Nutritional Balance system is designed to not create unnecessary difficulties. Monitoring nutrients is easy enough if not completely ignored.

The developer paid particular attention to ease of configuration. You can freely add new types of food, create unique nutrients, and change system coefficients - all for the most comfortable balance. Nutritional Balance identifies nutritional value through item tags. You can use the configuration file if that seems more convenient. Analysis considers crafting recipes, so only raw ingredients need to be tagged.
Buffs and debuffs are also customizable, and their parameters can be changed through the server configuration file.
