This mod provides a simple way to create Nether stars from large amounts of quartz. This feature can be disabled in configuration settings. Newer versions also add Nether star tools and armor, which can also be disabled through configuration files.

Crafting Features

Compressed Quartz: Place 9 quartz blocks in a crafting table in a 3×3 pattern

Double Compressed Quartz: Use 9 compressed quartz blocks arranged in a 3×3 grid

Star Fragment:

Nether Star: Crafted from 4 star fragments arranged in a 2×2 square

Technical Features

In Minecraft versions 1.14+, compressed blocks are added to tags with the structure "forge:compressed/QUANTITYxMATERIAL". For example, compressed quartz is in the tag "forge:compressed/1xquartz".

The mod can be freely used in public modpacks.
