Not Enough Weapons
The mod significantly expands the weapon arsenal in Minecraft by adding 8 new weapon types for every standard tool material in the game.
New Weapon Types
Players gain access to the following weapon types:
- Club
- Large club
- Dagger
- Glaive
- Greatsword
- Hammer
- Longhammer
- Short sword
Each of these weapon types is available for all main game materials: wood, stone, gold, iron, diamond, and netherite. In total, this amounts to 48 completely new items for your arsenal.
Unique Name System
After crafting, weapons receive random unique names that directly affect their combat characteristics. Currently, the mod features 62 different unique names, each granting weapons special properties.
Bonus Attributes and Effects
Weapons can receive various enhancements:
- Increased damage
- Higher attack speed
- Attack knockback
- Armor and armor toughness
- Knockback resistance
- Movement speed
There are also special effects of two types:
- On-hit effects (displayed in aqua color)
- Passive effects (displayed in dark aqua color)
Some effects allow taming or summoning creatures with a 20% chance on hit. For example, you can tame spiders, zombies, or skeletons, or summon witches, guardians, or bats.
Settings and Compatibility
All attribute values and effects can be modified through the ydmscorex configuration file. The mod requires installation of the YDM's coreX Library for proper functioning.
