Why Was This Mod Created?

Starting from Minecraft 1.20, Mojang began updating resource pack format versions very frequently. While from Minecraft 1.6.1 to 1.19.4 the format number only increased from 1 to 13, by version 1.21.8 it had already reached 64 🤣🤣🤣. This rapid increase in version numbers has resulted in many resource packs failing to update their pack.mcmeta file with supported version declarations, even though they are actually fully compatible with newer game versions. As a result, players constantly see an entire page of "incompatibility" warnings on the resource pack selection screen.
