No Hat For Da Ground

Forget about turning hats into pumpkins!

This mod blocks the ability to place items containing the special CustomModelData tag in NBT data on the ground. All your unique hats and accessories created from carved pumpkins using resource packs will now remain safe and won't accidentally end up on the ground!

The mod works in various configurations: it can be installed only on the server, only on the client, or simultaneously on both sides.

Features for server owners

When installed exclusively on the server side, items may momentarily appear on the ground on the client, but this doesn't cause player "rollback" or create lag issues.

Technical requirements

For mod versions up to and including 0.0.2, Fabric API installation is required.
