No Grass, No Flowers
Available for Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.8!
This modification originally started as a custom request for a specific modpack. It's now available for use in any collections without restrictions.
The main function of NoGrassNoFlowers is to completely disable the natural appearance of certain plants in the game world. This includes grass of various heights, all types of flowers, and their larger counterparts. Additionally, the ability to grow these plants using bone meal on regular dirt or grass cover is blocked. Bone meal continues to work on standard plantings – cereal crops, cocoa beans, and young trees.
This approach will be especially useful for builders who are tired of constantly clearing away unwanted vegetation when constructing large-scale projects.
Important nuances
- The new generation rules apply only in the normal world
- In custom biomes, tall grass and large plants may appear despite the mod's action
- If you have Biomes O' Plenty installed, volume plants sometimes generate even in standard biomes
- The mod can be installed only on the server side, as it doesn't add graphics and uses minimal resources
Configuration file
Configuration file allows for fine-tuning the mod's operation:
- Enabling/disabling natural appearance of large plants and tall grass
- Settings for bone meal to work only on cultivated plants
- Management of flower generation
- Control over the appearance of ordinary grass
The mod was developed and tested with Forge for version 1.7.10 (10.13.4.1558 Release). The version for 1.8 was created and checked with Forge for 1.8 (11.14.4.1563 Release).
Should be compatible with all popular mods. Report any technical issues!
