Nimble (Fabric)
Nimble is a lightweight client-side mod for Minecraft that significantly enhances the game's visual perception by adding smooth transitions when switching player perspective. Instead of sharp camera jumps when switching between first and third-person views, you'll get a pleasant transformation animation.
Key Features
The modification provides several useful functions:
- Smooth perspective transitions — when you switch between viewing modes, the camera moves naturally and gradually
- Automatic view switching — when boarding a vehicle, the view automatically changes to third-person for greater convenience
- Dynamic flight camera — when using elytra, the screen smoothly tilts in the direction of the turn, creating a sense of real flight
Control Features
To activate the "third-person front view" you now need to hold the F4 key. This function was changed to prevent accidental switching and improve the overall gaming experience.
Settings and Compatibility
Most of the mod's features can be disabled or configured to your preferences. To access advanced settings, you'll need to install the Kiwi addon. If you also have Cloth Config, you'll get a convenient graphical interface for configuration directly in the game.
Note for users: The author notes that they probably won't update the mod for future Minecraft versions. As a long-term working alternative, it's recommended to consider the "Leawind's Third Person" mod, which with proper configuration can replace Nimble's functionality.
