Mod Overview

This mod introduces special upgrades for standard swords that become available after defeating the Ender Dragon. All basic blade types (except netherite, which is already powerful enough) receive unique upgrades, each offering its own playstyle and tactical opportunities.

Upgrade Process

To access the upgraded swords, you first need to defeat the Ender Dragon. After its defeat, the Heart of Final will appear above the heads of all players present in the End. Attack it to add it to your inventory. Then craft an upgraded sword on a crafting table using a regular sword, the Heart of Final, and additional components (recipes can be viewed through JEI).

Types of Upgraded Swords

Groveblade

Upgraded version of the wooden sword. When attacking mobs with this weapon, 8 razor leaves appear, damaging nearby enemies. Although the sword itself and the leaves don't deal significant damage, their main feature is that when leaves pass through mobs, they cause them to drop experience orbs (the greater the damage, the larger the orb).

Gaia

Upgrade of the stone sword. Use it on solid ground to create a Gaia pillar. When mobs are attacked by any other sword (except this one) within the pillar's range, they take additional damage. The effect also works in PvP. It's recommended to use this weapon as support for more powerful blades.

Excalibur

Upgrade of the iron sword. When many undead are near you, the sword charges up, allowing you to summon waves of light upon swinging that purge undead (and other creatures, but with less effectiveness). The damage of these waves cannot be increased and ignores the armor of affected mobs.

Gold Hoarder

Upgrade of the golden sword. As the name suggests, to increase this weapon's power, you need to accumulate gold and other valuables (such as amethysts, emeralds, diamonds, etc.). When killing mobs, there's a chance they'll drop something valuable. The chance isn't high, and you're unlikely to get many diamonds this way. Each valuable in your inventory increases the sword's damage by 0.2%, with a maximum bonus of 128% (equivalent to 10 stacks of valuables). Essentially, this is a weapon for those who enjoy resource gathering.

Yamato

Upgrade of the diamond sword. By default, the sword is sheathed. Press RMB to unsheathe it with a powerful strike that grants temporary invincibility. If you hit more than 2 mobs with this strike, the sword awakens. In the unsheathed state, attacks leave reality slices that damage nearby enemies, ignoring their armor. The awakened state boosts the weapon's overall effectiveness. However, if you take damage while using the sword or move it to another hand, it returns to its sheath.
