NewMod - Content from New Versions for Old Minecraft Versions
The NewMod allows you to enjoy elements from modern Minecraft versions in those game releases that many players still prefer.
About the Project
This addon was one of my first creations made using MCreator. The main idea was to enrich the gameplay in popular old versions with content from newer updates. It's worth noting that development was done a long time ago using an outdated version of MCreator, so the project is no longer supported and no updates are expected.
Functional Capabilities
The mod adds many interesting elements:
Barrel - a functional alternative to chests, similar to the 1.14 version.
Crimson Elements - including nylium, stems, planks, stairs, fences, slabs, trapdoors, roots, fungus, weeping vines, and shroomlights. Most of these items cannot be crafted (except for planks, stairs, fences, slabs, and trapdoors) - they can only be found in Crimson Forests.
Warped Elements - nylium, stems, planks, stairs, fences, slabs, trapdoors, roots, fungus, warped wart blocks, and twisting vines. Also cannot be crafted (except for planks, stairs, fences, slabs, and trapdoors) and are found exclusively in Warped Forests.
Ancient Debris - generates in the Nether at depths from 0 to 15 blocks.
Netherite Block - created from netherite ingots and can serve as a beacon base.
Smelter - a special furnace for smelting new materials. Requires a cauldron with lava placed above it to function. The smelting process takes about 1 minute.
Nether Gold Ore - found in the Nether, slightly rarer than quartz ore.
Crying Obsidian - a mysterious variety of obsidian with unknown properties.
Reinforced Iron Ingot - used for creating various items.
Netherite Scrap and Ingot - new resources from version 1.16.
Scrap and Ingot Molds - used together with the smelter to create netherite scrap and ingots.
Netherite Tools - full set: sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, and hoe.
Rotate Hammer - allows changing block orientation with right-click, and when mining, destroys a 3×3 block area.
Blaze Rod Bow - shoots explosive arrows.
Haste Potion - provides a speed effect similar to a beacon's effect, but without the need to build a beacon.
Wither Potion - applies the wither effect to the target.
Cluckshroom - the chicken version of the mooshroom!
Furnace Golem - a golem made from a furnace - be careful not to burn yourself!
Stormtrooper Armor - feel like a real stormtrooper!
Netherite Armor - the most advanced armor in the game!
Biomes - the mod adds two new biomes in the Nether style. However, the boundary between the Nether and the Overworld works unstably, so sometimes these biomes can be found in the Overworld as well.
Crimson Forest - contains all the crimson elements described above.
Warped Forest - includes all the warped elements mentioned earlier.
