New Life Origins - Collection of Origins for Minecraft

Important clarification: This is not a modification, but a data pack that needs to be placed in the appropriate folder of your world.

This collection was originally created by three developers specifically for the New Life SMP server, where nearly three dozen unique origins appeared. After the project ended, we received permission from Smajor to publish all content.

Here are the main capabilities offered by these origins:

Animal Whisperer - has special animal handling skills and accelerates plant growth nearby. Perfect choice for farms.

Archaeologist - specialist in finding valuable artifacts in gravel.

Assassin - stealthy and deadly fighter operating from the shadows.

Bad Guy - comical antagonist capable of becoming invisible, throwing dynamite, and resisting attacks.

Balloon - fragile but flying creature.

Butterfly - miniature creature with elytra, gaining power from flowers.

Chillager - drops ice blocks on enemies and turns into an invulnerable ice statue.

Dark Fairy - flies, becomes invisible and attacks with magic, but vulnerable to cold and sunlight.

Ditto - copies various mobs when interacting with them.

Fluffy Friend - closely connected to sheep, gains enhancements near them and gets sad alone.

Ghast - flies and shoots fireballs.

Glitch - chaotic creature subject to random effects along with opponents.

Guinea Pig - social creature preferring to work in teams.

Hippogryph - winged creature, ideal for air transportation.

Lightmancer - uses light for flight and attacks, but fears darkness.

Mimic - turns into a chest and creates chaos when attempted to open.

Otter - excellent swimmer feeding on fish.

The Phantom - periodically becomes invisible, simplified phantom version.

Sculk - possesses other creatures but only sees moving objects.

Sniffling - slow herbivore capable of finding ore and getting effects from flowers.

Snow Golem - arctic giant thriving in cold, slowing enemies with snowballs containing stones.

Star - light source illuminating the area and hovering in the air.

Sunshine Girl - runs on solar energy, has gardening abilities and shoots lasers.

Toy - small and fast, indistinguishable from Buzz Lightyear to mobs at full health.

Transporter - controls space by creating portals.

Trickster - changes size and teleports, but avoids darkness.

Weeping Angel - teleports and remains unnoticed.

Woodland Being - tall forest defender resembling Paul Bunyan as kaiju.
