Nether Gold Ore

This mod introduces a rare yet valuable new ore to the Nether — Nether Gold Ore. It can be found throughout the entire Nether dimension, though quite sparsely. The allure, however, is that the ore veins are quite large, making it worthwhile to venture into this dangerous realm.

When mined, the ore drops between 4 and 6 gold nuggets, increasing up to 9 with Fortune III enchantment. Players also gain a bit of experience along the way.

The main challenge is that gold is considered treasure by zombie pigmen. If you mine it near them or within their sight, they'll likely grow enraged and remember your intrusion for a while.

The mod is fully configurable: you can adjust the number of nuggets acquired, experience drops, how ore veins generate — their size, quantity per chunk, and height spread — as well as the chances and radius that trigger pigman aggression when gold ore is mined.

Important note: the original idea and textures were proposed by Reddit user MushirMickeyJoe. Please note that the popular Charm mod already integrated this feature in later updates, and vanilla Minecraft 1.16 also added Nether gold ore as a standard game component.
