Nether Foundation

Welcome to the world of infernal deposits! This mod creates Nether variants of traditional Minecraft and Thermal Foundation ores, allowing you to mine valuable resources directly in the Nether.

Mod Features

This modification serves as a spiritual successor to the legendary NetherOres by PowerCrystals and offers several unique mechanics that turn ordinary mining into an exciting adventure:

• Angry Piglins - local inhabitants protect their treasures and will attack if you attempt to mine ore in their domain
• Exploding Ores - sometimes ore blocks can explode when mined, creating additional obstacles for careless miners
• Lavafish (Hellfish) - unique creatures inhabiting the lava lakes of the Nether

Each of these features can be finely tuned through configuration files, allowing you to create exactly the gameplay experience you prefer.

Technical Requirements

For full functionality, the mod requires several additional modifications:

• Thermal Foundation - provides the creation of ingots, dust, nuggets and other derivative products from ores
• CoFH World - responsible for generating ore deposits in the game world

Development Status

Currently, active development of the mod is paused. The author has focused on their main job, but does not rule out the possibility of returning to the project in the future. Many interesting ideas were planned for implementation but have been temporarily postponed.

Users looking for an alternative with similar functionality can consider the Netherending Ores mod. Its developer has received permission to use code from this modification, so all its features have been reworked and integrated into the new project with additional support for most popular technical mods.
