Nether Archives
This mod significantly expands the possibilities of the Nether, adding numerous unique mechanics and items that will make exploring this dangerous territory even more exciting.

Blaze Fire and Torches
Blaze fire creates temporary flames that damage creatures but do not ignite blocks or destroy items. This makes it an ideal weapon for battles near flammable structures.
To create blaze fire, place blaze dust on the ground and ignite it. This will cause a chain reaction, igniting neighboring dust particles. One blaze powder can create 4 units of blaze dust.
Blaze torches emit particles that indicate the direction to the nearest Nether fortress. They can be crafted from blaze powder or obtained through trading with piglins.

Magnetite and Resources
Magnetite is a new resource found in basalt deltas. When in contact with lava, it turns into smoldering magnetite, which can be mined to obtain iron slag. Iron slag is smelted into iron nuggets.
Magnetite falls like sand unless connected to a lodestone.

Resource Processing
From 9 units of rotten flesh, you can create a rotten flesh block. Placing this block above soul fire or a soul campfire slowly ferments it, yielding 1-3 units of leather upon complete fermentation.
Basalt Skis and Geysers
Basalt Skis and Oar
- Simplified movement across basalt deltas
- Wearing skis allows standing on fluids without taking damage
- On fluids, manual movement is impossible, but you can use an oar to push yourself
- Using the oar on lava inflicts slight damage
- Crafted from polished basalt
Basalt Geysers
- Launch entities into the air
- Entities wearing skis fall slowly and do not take fall damage
- Generate naturally in basalt deltas, especially in lava lakes
- Can be mined with silk touch
- Can create an adjustable version whose range is controlled by redstone signal
Spectreglass
Spectreglass is a strange glass block created by smelting soul sand. It can reveal invisible entities behind it but is brittle and shatters upon impact. You can also create a handheld knife that can detect invisible entities.
Development Philosophy
The developer aimed to avoid duplicating functionality already present in other mods. Each added feature possesses unique and detailed mechanics, rather than simply providing additional building blocks or identical functions.
