Mutations - Adds Terrifying Creatures to Your World

This mod introduces four new horrifying creatures (currently) that will haunt you in Minecraft. Each of them possesses unique behavior patterns and appearances, making the gameplay more intense and atmospheric.

Roamers

Appearance

Roamers have a large body resembling a human form, but without a neck and with disproportionately long limbs. Their head resembles that of a dog, and their sounds are similar to wolves. Tiny glowing eyes are the only feature visible from a distance in the dark. During the day, Roamers' skin becomes transparent, only their eyes remaining visible. These creatures are often referred to as werewolves.

Behavior

During the day, Roamers gather in groups, but with nightfall they gradually disperse. This makes staying near them during daylight hours particularly dangerous. By day they follow the nearest prey and flee if spotted. Being indoors when Roamers are present is a bad idea, as they attack when their target hides behind a wall or moves out of sight.

At night, Roamers become aggressive and pursue their victims regardless of surroundings. If there are multiple, they allow the weakest member of the group to feed.

Self-Defense

Roamers inhabit almost everywhere. If you find yourself in open terrain, take position on elevated ground and stay outdoors - these creatures cannot climb. Indoors they cannot see you, but can easily open any door, so barricade all entrances. In forests, it's better to run until reaching a safe area or open field.

During the day, more Roamers accumulate, attacking unexpectedly. In open areas ensure you can see all creatures around - if you cannot spot one, it's likely already stalking you.

Snatchers

Appearance

Snatchers have medium-sized bodies with human-like torsos but no arms. Their body consists of three rings of flesh pointing outward. Their skin is blood-red, eyes appear as dark holes, and hair protrudes from their back. Strangely enough, Snatchers are single-celled organisms composed of hunter cells.

Behavior

Snatchers avoid people, waiting for their target's vulnerable moment. When attacking, they wrap their rings around the victim and attempt to drag them away. They cannot kill on their own and don't require food, absorbing nutrients from whatever gets caught in their rings. Bright light repels Snatchers.

Self-Defense

Remain in illuminated areas - under such conditions Snatchers won't touch you. If grabbed, attack the creature with fists or weapons. Feeling threatened, it will release you and disappear. Keep Snatchers within your line of sight to show you're not vulnerable.

House Stalkers

Appearance

House Stalkers have spider-like legs and remain invisible for most of their lifespan. Their head resembles a human head but without a lower jaw and with hollow eye sockets. Their skin is likely covered in silk, making them soft to the touch.

Behavior

These creatures infiltrate any available houses and remain there as long as necessary. Before entering buildings, they hunt animals for sustenance. After gathering sufficient information about their target, they wait until night before attacking.

Self-Defense

Regularly inspect and clean your house. If you bump into something invisible, lock it in an airtight container for a week - this will starve the Stalker.

At night, close and lock all doors, ensuring room safety. To prevent infiltration, make sure all entrances are secured, and when entering or exiting the house, open doors quickly. Stalkers cannot open doors but wait for an opportunity to slip inside.
