More Than A Pickaxe

Mod Overview

More Than A Pickaxe fundamentally enhances the Minecraft survival experience by adding a universal tool that replaces almost all basic tools (except shears). Now you won't need to constantly switch tools for working with different materials. This multifunctional tool called Adze combines a pickaxe, axe, sword, hoe, and shovel into one.

The mod offers a wide selection of Adze made from various materials:

• Netherite Adze (fireproof in all versions)

• Steel Adze (available only if another mod adds steel ingots)

Compatibility with Other Mods

Starting from version 0.1.6, More Than A Pickaxe supports integration with more than 19 different mods. This means that for each tool set from supported mods, a corresponding Adze will be added that can be found or crafted in a similar way.

Emerald Adze - added when using the following mods:

Obsidian Adze - available with:

• Standard Materials

Ruby Adze - appears when installing:

• Gems and Crystals
• Simple Emerald Mod

Gems and Crystals - adds Adze made from amethyst, sapphire, topaz, and quartz

Lumberjack - allows Adze to chop down entire trees without additional configuration

Gobber - adds Gobber, Nether, and End Adze:

• Gobber and Nether Adze can chop down entire trees and destroy individual tree blocks when holding Shift
• End Adze has the same functions plus shoots infinite arrows and places infinite torches

The Aether - adds Gravitite, Holystone, Skyroot, Valkyrie, and Zanite Adze with corresponding special abilities

Better Combat - adds axe attack animations

Requirements

More Than A Pickaxe requires the SurvivalPlus mod to be installed. Without it, the mod will not function. A Fabric version of the mod is also available.

Minecraft Versions

The developer supports Minecraft versions 1.12 and 1.19. Porting to older versions is not planned due to significant time investment and low return. Development for Minecraft 1.20 will begin after the corresponding Forge version is released.

License and Modpacks

More Than A Pickaxe can be freely used in any modpacks provided that credit is given to coolsim. Redistribution of the mod in any form is prohibited.
