Modern Lights
Modern lighting blocks with simple usage
This mod is inspired by the excellent Simply Light project by Flanks255, offering players elegant and functional lighting sources for their building projects.
New features in version 2.4.2
The latest update brings several important improvements. All blocks can now be toggled on and off using redstone, while regular right-click interaction continues to work if the block isn't receiving a redstone signal. Vertical slabs have been added, expanding building possibilities. All lighting elements can be placed on walls and fences, opening up new decoration options.
When creating a map, each block (except for non-solid elements like mini-lights and mini-blocks) displays the corresponding color. All blocks now support waterlogging, and the crafting recipe for luminous blocks has been changed for better balance.
Available blocks
The mod adds various lighting elements: andesite frame, luminous blocks (regular and full), luminous slabs (regular, full and vertical), mini-blocks (regular and full), mini-lights, ceiling lights, panels and compact panels. Almost all blocks are available in all 16 standard Minecraft colors, except for the andesite frame.
Block interaction
Lighting control is intuitive: right-clicking any block toggles its state between on and off. Alternatively, you can use redstone signals to control lighting. It's important to note that when a block is powered by redstone, it cannot be toggled by regular mouse click.
