Mine Glass Without Silk Touch Enchantment!
This datapack allows you to break glass blocks with any tool or even bare hands, without requiring the Silk Touch enchantment. Now you can collect glass in the usual way, which significantly simplifies building and decorating in Minecraft.
How to Install the Datapack in Singleplayer
When Creating a New World
1. Launch Minecraft and create a new world.
2. In the world creation menu, go to the "More" section and select "Data Packs".
3. Drag the datapack file (.zip format or folder) into the Minecraft window.
4. Confirm installation by clicking "Yes".
5. Activate the datapack by moving it to the right side of the screen using the triangular button.
6. Complete world creation by clicking "Done" and "Create New World".
Important: The datapack only works with cheats enabled. You can verify activation with the command /datapack list enabled.
In an Existing World
1. Open the world folder through the edit menu.
2. Find the "datapacks" folder and place the datapack file there.
3. Reload the world with the /reload command or by pressing F3 + T.
How to Enable Cheats
Permanent Enablement
1. Download the NBTExplorer program.
2. Open your world's level.dat file.
3. Navigate to: Data → allowCommands.
4. Change the value from 0 to 1 and save the changes.
Temporary Enablement
1. Enter the world and press ESC.
2. Select "Open to LAN".
3. Enable the "Allow Commands" option.
4. Start the LAN world.
Server Installation
1. Open the world folder on the server.
2. Place the datapack in the "datapacks" folder.
3. Reload the server with the /reload command.
Removing the Datapack
1. Execute the command: /function datapack_name:uninstall
2. Delete the datapack file from the folder or disable it with the command /datapack disable [file/datapack_name]
3. Reload the world or server.
Installing the Mod on a Server
1. Download the mod version compatible with your server version.
2. Ensure there are no conflicts with other mods or datapacks.
3. Place the .jar file in the server's "mods" folder.
4. Restart the server.
5. Check if the mod is working with the /mods command.
Recommendation: Create a world backup before installation.
