Mighty Ender Chicken
This modification introduces two new bosses - the Ender Chicken and the Chaos Chicken, which replace the Ender Dragon and Chaos Dragon from the Draconic Evolution mod.
Summoning Bosses
To summon the Ender Chicken, create a ring of 8 obsidian blocks with a diamond block in the center and drop an egg on it. The Chaos Chicken is summoned in the same way, but using a dragon egg instead of a regular egg. The summoning can be restricted to a specific dimension through configuration settings.
Hatching Process
After summoning, the chicken will begin hatching from the egg. You can speed up this process by dealing damage with a weapon of sufficient strength.
Force Field
After hatching, the chicken creates a protective force field around itself that blocks all incoming damage except melee attacks. Melee attacks gradually destroy the field. The configuration can require a specific item to disable the protection.
Boss Attacks
Both chickens possess various attacks that can be configured through settings. Letters in parentheses indicate which chicken uses the attack by default: E - Ender Chicken, C - Chaos Chicken.
Charge (E, C)
The chicken focuses on its target and emits a threatening sound, then rapidly attacks, dealing significant damage. The movement continues until colliding with an obstacle or reaching the maximum distance.
Area Clearing (E, C)
When feeling cramped, the chicken emits a cry that triggers a powerful explosion, clearing space for the large creature to move.
Entity Repulsion (E, C)
Unlike regular chickens, these bosses don't tolerate other entities beneath them. They flap their wings, creating an air current that pushes away nearby entities. Can also be used to deflect arrows.
Laser Attack (E, C)
The brightly glowing wattle serves as a powerful laser weapon. Although aiming is usually inaccurate, the chance of hitting increases when the target is above the chicken's body. When flying over the head, the boss completely focuses on the target. Laser hits create a dragon's breath cloud.
Retaliatory Strike (E)
After the force field is destroyed, the chicken furiously chases the player, attempting to peck them, then panics and runs away.
Field Regeneration (C)
The Chaos Chicken can periodically restore its protective field, significantly complicating the battle.
Spinning Attack (E)
Entering a rage, the chicken starts spinning, scattering explosive eggs. While most are relatively safe, some can be dangerous.
Targeted Barrage (C)
Sometimes the chicken randomly spits out eggs that surprisingly accurately find their target.
Loot
The bosses have their own loot tables but don't drop any loot by default. Since the mod is designed for use in modpacks, reward configuration is left to modpack creators.
Requires iChunUtil and Minecraft Forge.
