Mekanism Elements is an addon that significantly expands the scientific aspect of the main Mekanism mod, adding numerous chemical elements and related technological processes.
Key Features
Infinite Resources from Seawater
A special seawater pump allows extraction of salt water directly from ocean biomes. Using high-performance adsorbents, valuable metals contained in seawater in small quantities can be extracted, providing virtually unlimited access to resources.
Advanced Nuclear Energy
The mod introduces a radiation irradiator that operates using neutron sources for more efficient nuclear reactions. This system allows safe fission reactions with increased productivity.
Chemical Production
Create compressed air using a compressor, then separate it into components using an adsorption separator to obtain nitrogen. From nitrogen and hydrogen, produce ammonia, which has higher energy capacity compared to ethylene. Nitric acid, created from ammonia, oxygen, and water vapor, allows safe disposal of spent nuclear fuel.
Helium Cooling
A new type of coolant based on helium, produced from yttrium, has a cooling efficiency of 1.5 and allows activation of a nuclear reactor with a burn rate of 1920 mb/tick. Yttrium in turn is produced from strontium, which is obtained from uranium hexafluoride.
Medical Preparations
Create syringes from glass and HDPE sheets to store up to 5 doses of various medicines. Available preparations include fire retardants based on bromine, anesthetics from xenon, and levitation agents based on helium. Iodine tablets made from potassium iodide are also produced, reducing the player's radiation exposure level.
Building Materials
High-quality concrete is created from calcium oxide, sand, and lead dust, then mixed with water vapor to obtain the mixture and final processing. This material has increased explosion resistance compared to regular concrete, has a smooth surface, and can be converted into stairs and slabs for construction needs.
