Medieval Warfare V2 (V3 LOADING) - Complete Guide
Welcome to the world of medieval warfare! This mod was created as a hobby project to learn the basics of Minecraft modding. If you find any bugs (which are expected in early versions), please report them in the comments.
The mod is inspired by the classic Ancient War mod and offers a unique army management experience in a medieval setting.
Getting Started
To begin your military adventure, press the K key (settings can be changed in the control menu) and choose your team. After selecting a team, unit purchases become available. Each warrior type is purchased with specific currency that drops from any hostile mobs.
Army Management
Commanding troops is very simple: hold a staff and right-click to select a command, then right-click on a squad to apply the chosen order.
For ballistas and gates, use the Shift + right-click combination to take them back.
World Structures
The mod adds 13 unique structures that generate naturally in the world:
- Roman: fort, tower, castle
- Desert: castle, fort, tower
- Bandit camp
- Aztec and Indian villages
- Greek: ruined military base, castle
- Viking: fort and house
Compatibility and Additional Features
It's recommended to use the mod alongside Epic Fight and FactionCraft. Both mods already have compatibility with Medieval Warfare, allowing spawning of patrols and raids from this mod's creatures and changing their combat style according to Epic Fight.
The player can craft two items that, when used, spawn a guard. The guard will follow the player and attack aggressive mobs. Right-clicking on the entity allows you to make it sit, guard a position, or follow you.
