Material Foundation

Adds high-quality metallic and composite materials with clean textures to the game. All resources are rendered in 64x64 pixel resolution for maximum detail, significantly surpassing standard Minecraft textures.

One of the interesting features is the ability to color iron materials in various colors, opening up wide possibilities for creative building and decoration.

Compatibility and Requirements

For the full functionality of some recipes, additional mods are required. The presence of Ender IO or any other mod that adds Dark Steel is necessary. Mekanism, IC2, or other mods providing Bronze, Copper, and Tin are also required for the proper functioning of certain crafts.

All recipes are fully supported by JEI. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use JEI version 3.14.3.403 or higher, as critical bugs were fixed in this version.

Development Plans

Work is currently underway to adapt the mod for Minecraft 1.12.x. The new version will retain the existing EnderIO content with alternative crafting recipes. It is also planned to include most of the content that was previously unreleased for version 2.1, and materials from Thermal Foundation that were excluded from the unreleased version for Minecraft 1.7.10.
