Maple - Japanese Aesthetic Mod for Minecraft

The Maple mod offers players an immersion into Eastern culture by adding new biomes, decorative elements, and useful mechanics. Compatible with Fabric (requires Fabric Loader, Fabric API, and Terrablender) and Forge (requires only Terrablender).

New Biomes and Landscapes

The mod introduces three unique biomes that will diversify your adventures:

Maple Forest - a picturesque area with intertwined maple and red maple trees, adorned with flowers and fallen leaves.

Cherry Blossom Grove - a magical place with glowing cherry blossoms, falling petals, and natural hot springs that restore player health.

Grove Cherry Biome (for versions 1.18-1.19.4) - a biome rich in cherry trees and bees.

Furniture and Interior

Starting from version 1.4.0, the mod adds various furniture in Japanese style:

• Sitting cushions
• Windows of various styles
• Coffee tables
• Dining tables
• Tea tables
• Chairs and armchairs

Culinary and Beverages

Expand your culinary possibilities with new dishes and equipment:

Added dishes such as beef with rice and cheese, as well as various juices. For their preparation, juicers and teapots are available.

Structures and Exploration

The mod adds unique structures that make world exploration more exciting:

Hot spring pavilions and cherry blossom villages bring new elements for exploration and construction.

Combat Snowballs

Diversify your battles with snowballs that have special effects:

• Stone, iron, gold, diamond, and mixed snowballs deal damage to monsters and players
• Teleporting snowball randomly moves any entity a certain distance
• Instant health snowball quickly restores health
• Poison snowball applies a poison effect to the target

Decorative Blocks

The mod offers a wide selection of building and decorative materials:

• Grout - a new building material in various colors, easy to mine
• Gilded sea lanterns - available in iron and gold variants
• Tatami - traditional Japanese flooring material
• Glass stairs and slabs - multi-colored decorative elements

Hanging Signs

For versions 1.20+, hanging versions of ginkgo and maple signs have been added.

Materials and Tools

Sakura Ingot - a valuable material for creating equipment and tools. Sakura items surpass netherite in characteristics and can be obtained using materials from the Overworld.

Nether Ores

The mod adds ores to the Nether, making survival in this dimension easier compared to the vanilla version. These ores generate in the Nether and are no different from regular ones except for their location.

Backward Compatibility

The mod adds cherry and bamboo blocks to versions 1.19 and 1.18, including fences, trapdoors, logs, wood, signs, slabs, stairs, and doors.
