Magnum Torch [Legacy Fabric]

What is this mod?
Magnum Torch is a unique addition that introduces three types of powerful torches to the game. These special devices effectively prevent mob spawning in a large area around them. Important to note that only natural spawns are blocked - creatures from spawners, raids, and other artificial sources continue to function normally.
Three kinds of magnum torch, each prevents different mob spawns
Torch types and their features
Each magnum torch you craft affects a specific category of creatures. Mobs already present in the world don't vanish instantly upon placing a torch - only new spawns are prevented.
Diamond torch: Completely blocks hostile mob spawns, including zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, phantoms, and other dangerous creatures.
Emerald torch: Targets passive mobs such as wandering traders and their llamas. Technically it also affects animals, but in practice this is barely noticeable since they only spawn during world generation or breeding - processes not affected by the torch.
Amethyst torch: Controls cave and water inhabitants, including bats, all squid types, axolotls, and various fish species.

Advanced configuration options
Each magnum torch type offers a flexible configuration system. You can customize:
- Effective range - the area where the torch operates
- Zone shape - cuboid, cylinder, or ellipsoid
- White-/blacklists for individual mobs
- Types of blocked creatures (hostile/water/cave/passive)
This allows you to completely change the purpose of different torch types. For example, you could create one type that only blocks phantoms, another that solely deals with wandering traders, and a third that disables all fish. Everything depends on your preferences!

Frequently asked questions
Question: How do I configure this mod?
Answer: Editing configuration files directly in-game has not yet been implemented. Instead when in a world run the /config showfile <modid> command by choosing either CLIENT or SERVER (depending on the mod), then click the file name (ending with .toml) that appears in chat to be able to manually edit the configuration file in a separate editor. After saving the file, the setup will automatically reload in-game after a few seconds, so no game restart is required.
