Lost Cities Squared
Welcome to the modification that continues the development of the classic Minecraft addon, improving its functionality and fixing shortcomings of previous versions.
Compatibility
- The Lost Soul's: Compatible with versions Dev-1 and below
- The Lost Cities (Original): Incompatible due to identical mod identifier
- The Lost Cities (Render Fix): Incompatible for the same reason
- Biomes O' Plenty: Fully supported using custom generator for biome display
Main Changes
- Special handling of TileEntity, which are now placed not as regular blocks (Burchard36 implementation)
- Added new "nospawner" profile for generating buildings with loot but without mod spawners
- New "geopol" profile for city creation using GeoPol technology
- Improvements in "onlycity" profile with addition of railways and highways
- All previously hidden base profiles have been opened
- Fixed the issue with water generation inside buildings
- Discontinued use of dungeon loot in urban structures
Near Future Plans
- Creation of palette using MWC Props
- Development of configuration system for city loot (relevant for version 1.12.2 without datapack support)
- Updated Chisel profile with improved visual component
Long-term Plans
- Investigation of memory leak issue
- Implementation of city zoning system (downtown, suburbs and other districts)
