Lose Your Touch - A New Approach to Survival

The Lose Your Touch mod fundamentally changes the standard Minecraft gameplay, turning ordinary survival into a real challenge. Now you cannot start the game by simply cutting down trees - this requires a whole set of primitive tools that you first need to find or create.

In the early stages of the game, you'll need to find at least two sticks required to craft a primitive digging stick. This simple tool will become your first helper in resource gathering - with it you can collect flint for creating more advanced tools.

As for tools for mining minerals, the mod creators have also prepared a surprise here. Pickaxes are crafted using flint, digging sticks, and any planks.

The crafting changes deserve special attention: the traditional workbench recipe has been redesigned. To create it now requires placing flint on top of two wooden planks.
