Link15 Parasites RM
Immerse yourself in the world of the Link15 Parasites RM modification - an exciting addition to Minecraft that introduces a dynamic ecosystem of parasitic creatures into the game. Players will need to develop strategies and adapt to the constant threat of infestation.
Modification Features
Parasitic Creatures: Encounter diverse parasites with unique behaviors and development stages. From Gants to Ranglers and Crawlers - each presents a special danger. They spawn in different dimensions and biomes, making every encounter unpredictable.
Meteorite Phenomenon: Witness meteorite falls that mark the beginning of the parasitic invasion. These celestial events create special blocks with valuable resources and trigger various in-game events, including parasite spawns and world changes.
World Species and Transformations: Explore two main species - Beetles and Worms, whose evolution depends on the "transformation rate" indicator. This parameter affects game mechanics and parasite behavior, shaping the constantly changing game landscape.
Hives: Hives play a key role in parasite development. They go through three development stages, each spawning stronger parasites regardless of transformation rate. Depending on the world species, hives possess different abilities: slowly destroying blocks or damaging nearby entities. As hives consume entities, they progress to the next stage or merge for partial transformation. The number of meteorites determines hive spawning: 50 for the first stage, 100 for the second, and 150 for the third. Staying near a hive for too long triggers a screaming effect, accelerating new hive spawning.
Meteorites: Meteorites fall from a height of 500 blocks and create ores depending on the dimension. In the overworld, you'll find basic resources like graphite and meteorite shards, while in the Nether and End - rarer materials including diamonds and ancient debris. Different meteorite types contain various resources with a chance of dropping meteorite shards and coal. Meteorite fall frequency changes throughout day and night, and destroying Gants can reduce the number of meteorite impacts.
Assimilated Mobs: Face assimilated creatures that appear after ordinary mobs are infected with corrosion infection from Ranglers. After the infection ends or the mob dies, it transforms into an assimilated one. After a sufficient number of fallen meteorites, assimilated mobs can spawn independently if Gants are capable of transforming into Ranglers.
Transformation Rate: This mechanism determines the speed of species development in the world. Each parasite and hive is assigned a random number, and if it reaches a certain threshold, transformation occurs, affecting parasite spawning and evolution depending on the game phase.
