Lighty

Lighty offers a completely new approach to displaying light levels in Minecraft. Instead of traditional crosses or numbers on block surfaces, this mod creates transparent carpet-like blocks on top of them! Starting from version 1.1.0, there's an option to display actual numerical light level values, but in Lighty's signature style!

Configuration and Controls

To activate the light overlay, press the F7 key and select the desired display mode. This hotkey can be reassigned in the key binds menu.

Since version 1.2.0, there's a quick toggle feature for the light overlay using the F8 key, which can also be customized to your preference.

Version 1.3.0 added a new configuration menu (accessible via F7) where you can modify threshold values for color indicators. This is particularly useful for players who want to create aesthetic lighting or are using mods that change mob spawning rules.

Color Indicator Meanings

• Green: Mobs cannot spawn in this area!
• Orange: Mobs may spawn here when night falls! Be careful!
• Red: Mobs can spawn in this location!
