Life Series

The Life Series modification is an exact recreation of the famous game mode series by creator Grian for Minecraft on the Fabric platform. The mod includes numerous quality-of-life features for gameplay automation and offers the complete set of all seasons from the original series.

Mod Features

Life Series covers all seasons of the original series: Third Life, Last Life, Double Life, Limited Life, Secret Life, Wild Life, and Past Life. Special April Fools' seasons - Real Life and Simple Life - are also included.

The mod automatically tracks player lives, assigns team colors, manages session timers, selects Boogeyman characters, and maintains kill statistics. Server-side installation is required for full functionality, while the client version (recommended) adds graphical interfaces for more convenient feature management.

Wild Life Features

Wild Life is the only complete public implementation of this season, requiring mod installation on both the server and all player clients. This mode introduces fundamental changes to Minecraft mechanics, so it may conflict with other complex mods or clients like Lunar Client. Some features may trigger anti-cheat systems, so it's recommended to disable them on the server.

Usage

Selecting a Series

After the first server startup, you need to select a game series using the /lifeseries chooseSeries or /lifeseries setSeries <series> command. The system will provide detailed instructions in the chat.

Starting a Session

To begin a game session, first set its duration with the /session timer set <time> command, where time is specified in formats like: 30m, 1h, 1h45m, 2h35m20s. Then use /session start to begin.

Blacklists and Limitations

Each season has its own list of banned items for gameplay balance, similar to Grian's original series. Banned items are automatically removed from inventories and cannot be crafted. Enchantment level clamping for combat skills is also applied, limiting them to level one.

Configuration

Configuration is available through the /lifeseries config command (requires Cloth Config) or via files in the config/lifeseries/* folder. You can customize the number of lives, blacklists, enchantments, tasks for Secret Life, rewards, and many other parameters. Use /lifeseries reload or the standard /reload to apply changes.

Most commands are available only to server operators, except those marked as "No permissions required."
