Level Up
Level Up is a datapack that adds a skill progression system to Minecraft. You develop your abilities simply by playing in normal mode!
Skill Management
To view current progress across all skills, use the command /trigger Dashboard. Administrators can configure the system via /trigger Settings — there you can enable/disable individual skills and reset progress.
Skill System
Core Abilities:
-
Overall Player Level — calculated as the sum of all other levels
- Every 5 levels you gain +2 health hearts (maximum — additional row of hearts)
-
Walking (3 levels) — depends on distance traveled
- Level 1: 12,000 blocks
-
Sprinting (3 levels) — tracks sprinting distance
- Level 1: 15,000 blocks
-
Jumping (3 levels) — counts number of jumps
- Level 1: 2,000 jumps
-
Swimming (2 levels) — measures distance swum
- Level 1: 100,000 blocks (after achievement gives dolphin's grace effect)
-
Diving (6 levels) — tracks time underwater
- Level 1: 15 minutes
-
Mining (3 levels) — counts mined ores and stone-like blocks
- Level 1: 2,000 blocks
-
Combat (22 levels) — achievement system for defeating monsters
- Levels granted for killing The Wither, Ender Dragon, or Warden
- 100 killed blazes — new level
- Other mobs also provide progress when reaching certain kill counts
Not all skills provide permanent bonuses. For example, sprinting periodically restores saturation instead of a constant effect.
Requirement Customization (Beta Feature)
To change skill progression requirements, use the command:
/scoreboard players set Skill_Level lvl_Requirements value
Example: /scoreboard players set Jumping_1 lvl_Requirements 1000
Future Updates
Potential new skills:

The system is constantly evolving, and developers are open to suggestions for new abilities!
